A Travel to my soul

Who says that you must  step out of your house to start a travel? Try to explore your heart and soul,  beginning a journey to the center of your mind. When we commence to probe into our mind, we will definately discover the other aspects of our own. This Wednesday night, I signed up for a mysterious workshop named "Whether the Santa Reindeer Travel or Not". Why I said it was mysterious? Well, just check the name of the workshop, it must confuse you a lot, and yes, it also puzzled me very much, but that's why I signed up for it.

Actually, it was an activity hold by X Academy (which was once criticized by many students in NCCU due to something unfair, but we just drop it right now.) The leader of the activity , a senior majoring advertisment, shared her perspective on life and the meaning of a journey. She led us to explore our soul through a travel that we unforgetted most, and from that travel, we could dicover every different aspect of ourself.

During the activity, we had a little DIY. What we made was a duffel bag with an image symbolized our unforgetted journey. Then, I drew a withered tree to be the image to stand for my special journey to the UK, because the row of the withered tree on the sidewalk of England is the most strong image in my head. They standed strongly and bravely in the bitter winter, despite the biting wind. That scene was really poetic. Its pure beauty touched me so much, therefore, it led me to ponder on my past and future.

So, who says that you must step out of your house to start a travel? Try to explore our heart and soul ,beginging a journey to the center of your mind.

  1. Hollow Annie. You seemed to have attended in a lot of interesting speeches and activities (I still remember the activity that you shared in the class about sharing the culture differences with the exchanging students, it’s also very special.) One of my professor once said that she in university, there are something you have to do, including the speech. Because she think, a speech is the essence of the speaker, if we listen carefully, it’s just like to get a great gift. So I think you have get a lot of great gifts, and shamed to say, I haven’t done it well. Hope one day I can do it well like you. Merry Christmas and Happy new year!

  2. Hellow, Annie.^^ I'm Jerry. Your trip is very special. And I need to say that the Academy in NCCU doesn't always do something bad or unfair to students. Besides, some activities it held are preaty good and really significant to us. I am convinced that you must have an wonderful "mental" trip in the activity. Sometimes, I also kicked off a travel in my mind. By means of that, I can know my personal traits and the true sound from my deep within more clearly. You are a really sincere and nice person.^_^

  3. Hi annie, it seems like you take part in special speeches and activities. It quite impressed me, cause I don't often join those activities by myself, however, after reading your blog I found it exciting to learn a lot fresh ideas or thought, maybe I'll try to search for activities I like and join it next semester. I'm also pretty interesting about how the senior help you to explore your travel, maybe you could talk about it more detail.

  4. This activity let me know that X Academy is doing something not so meaning as I thought. I haven’t been to Europe before and I always dream of the splendid castle there. My unforgotten journey is in Tokyo, during spring, tens of thousands of cherry trees blossom, and countless petal floating by warm breeze, if I could join this DIY, I would have drown a cherry tree that full of beautiful flower…
